Stuffed Celery with Pecans

Stuffed Celery with Pecans

When the holiday table is groaning with rich casseroles and decadent desserts, it’s nice to have something light, crisp, and refreshing within reach.

These Pecan-Stuffed Celery Bites are a classic appetizer — easy to make, beautiful on the table, and a thoughtful option for guests watching their calories (or just looking for a little crunch between all the sweet treats).

The cool, crisp celery pairs perfectly with a creamy, savory cheese filling, and the Better Halves Pecan Pieces or Better Halves Roasted Pecans on top add that extra buttery crunch.

  • 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened

  • ¼ cup chopped Better Halves Pecans
  • 20 green olives with pimento, chopped
  • 1 bunch celery, trimmed and cut into logs

Directions:

  1. Gather all ingredients.
  2. In a medium bowl, mix together the cream cheese and sour cream. Stir in the Better Halves Pecans and chopped olives.
  3. Spread filling onto the celery pieces.

Note:To make bite-sized appetizer servings, cut the celery into 1-inch pieces instead of logs. The filling is also good on crackers.
